Dr. Edward Millward

Dr. Millward was born and raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Prior to attending dental school, he served as a police officer for eight years in Red Bank and Freehold Township, NJ.

Dr. Millward earned his bachelors degree in biology from Rutgers University. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Dental School, where he graduated near the top of his class. He then completed his post doctorate training in Endodontics at New Jersey Dental School. His academic achievements include the American Association of Endodontics Award, The American Association of Oral Biologists Award, New Jersey Dental School Student Honors Program in Endodontics, and induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Millward  was previously on staff at Jersey Shore Medical Center where he taught and lectured to dental residents on the various aspects of endodontics. He holds professional memberships with the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association, as well as involvement in local dental study clubs.

Dr. Millward has been happily married to his wife, Carolyn, for 34 years. They are the proud parents of two sons, Christian and Brian. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, traveling, and is an avid ice hockey fan.
